Our story
Servicing our community for over 20 years, Organically Grown is owned and operated by Bill and Therese Toulmin and provides the public with organic fruit, vegetables and products.
Bill Toulmin has been working in the farming industry his whole life, and first became involved in organic farming and foods whilst working for an organic juice company in 1990. By 1995 he had purchased Organically Grown and promptly expanded the produce range to not only include fruit and vegetables; but other certified produce and dry goods.
Bill passionately believes in 100% organic fruit, vegetables and products and works from the understanding that food should be:
Arriving at 2am, Bill shops at the Melbourne Market daily to source the very best quality certified organic fruit and vegetables for his customers.
Our stock
Organic fruit & vegetables need to be grown in organic and chemical free soil. All soil is tested for chemicals prior to certification. It takes 3 years for certification & the grower has yearly checks by the organic certifier.
Another benefit of organic produce is it is Australian grown and is GMO free. It is grown in a natural state which gives it more flavour.
Organic food is fresher due to no preservatives. Organic fruit & vegetables have higher nutritional vale with more antioxdants & vitamins. Organic produce is better fro the environment.
Organically Grown has a large range of organic fresh foods including 100% Organic fruit & vegetable which are sourced from Australian growers.
We try to keep the boxes from the growers in the shop so customers know if they are organic or biodynamic.
We have a large range of products from different distribution companies. We advertise new products on instagram and facebook.
